EPA Section 608 Certification Testing & Proctoring
EPA Section 608 certification is required for anyone who works with refrigerants. Certification & Safety provides the testing, proctoring, and prep training you need to earn your EPA 608 credential. Our goal is to make the process clear, accessible, and aligned with national certification standards.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) offers Section 608 Certification to technicians who demonstrate the proper knowledge and handling of HVAC chemicals, including refrigerants like R-22 and R-410A. Certification & Safety provides access to EPA Section 608 Certification through a closed-book exam covering required material under 40 CFR Part 82 Subpart F. A passing score of 70% is required to receive your EPA Certification card.
π§ What EPA 608 Certification Is
